HOW YOUR VALUE CHART WORKS

The value up top can show two things — tap the icon in the top-right to cycle through your valueVGP Estimatehidden. The chart follows whichever you pick.

Your value is based entirely on the numbers you enter — nothing auto-updates it. Every night at 11 PM EST we snapshot that total and add a point to your chart, recorded permanently, so have your values finalized by then.

VGP Estimate is our market value for every game at every grade, built from real graded sales (Heritage, Goldin, Fanatics and more). We rebuild the whole grid weekly from the latest sales, and the estimate line is a running price-index of what you own right now — it starts the day we began tracking and fills in over time.

It gets smarter every week. The more graded sales we log, the more grades and games have real comps behind them — so your estimate should grow steadily more accurate over time.

  • Ungraded / sealed copies are valued conservatively, at about a graded-8.0 price (no grade is guaranteed).
  • Thin markets: many graded games rarely sell — a POP 1 PSA 10 has no clean market price — so we fall back to comparably-rare games on the same console + grade. It's an estimate, not an appraisal.
  • Your value always wins. Switching to the estimate never changes the numbers you entered.

Your line is only as accurate as the values you enter; the estimate is only as deep as the sales behind it.
